Safety Valves
At Lexier, we advise you on the most suitable valve for each hydrogen application, always offering high-quality products in compliance with European standards and regulations.
Safety valves for hydrogen applications are critical devices designed to protect systems and equipment from overpressure and other risks. In mobility, distribution, and storage applications of hydrogen, thermal pressure relief valves (TPRD) are installed. These valves are activated when there is a temperature increase, venting hydrogen to the outside and protecting the system from potential overpressure. Pressure relief valves (PRV) are triggered when the system exceeds predefined pressure values set by the valve, preventing damage to system components. Designed to withstand up to 1500 bar of pressure, these valves are ideal for high-pressure compressors, process systems, and hydrogen dispensing systems.
