Privacy Policy and Data Protection

In compliance with the applicable legislation, LEXIER VALVE SYSTEMS S.L. (hereinafter, also referred to as “the Website”) is committed to adopting the necessary technical and organizational measures, according to the appropriate security level, to mitigate risks related to collected data.

This privacy policy is adapted to current Spanish and European regulations on the protection of personal data on the internet. Specifically, it complies with the following regulations:

Personal Data Registration

In compliance with the GDPR and LOPD-GDD, we inform you that personal data collected through forms on our pages will be incorporated into our database for the purpose of facilitating, streamlining, and fulfilling commitments established between LEXIER and the User or maintaining the relationship that may be established through these forms, or for handling requests or inquiries.

Additionally, in accordance with the GDPR and LOPD-GDD, except where the exemption provided in Article 30.5 of the GDPR applies, a record of processing activities is maintained, specifying processing activities based on their purposes, and detailing all circumstances established by the GDPR.

Categories of Personal Data

The only category of data processed by LEXIER is identifying information. No special categories of personal data (as per Article 9 of the GDPR) are processed.

Legal Basis for Data Processing

The legal basis for processing personal data is User consent. LEXIER commits to obtaining explicit and verifiable consent from the User before processing their personal data for one or more specific purposes.

The User may withdraw their consent at any time. Withdrawing consent will be as easy as granting it. As a general rule, withdrawing consent will not affect the use of the Website.

Whenever the User provides data through forms (e.g., for inquiries or information requests), they will be informed if providing such data is mandatory for the correct execution of the operation.

Purposes of Data Processing

Data Security and Confidentiality

LEXIER undertakes to implement necessary security measures to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of personal data.

The Website uses an SSL (Secure Socket Layer) certificate, ensuring that personal data is securely transmitted between the server and the User.

However, as the security of internet systems cannot be fully guaranteed, LEXIER commits to notifying the User without undue delay if a data security breach occurs that is likely to result in a high risk to their rights and freedoms.

Right of Access: This is the User’s right to obtain confirmation as to whether LEXIER is processing their personal data and, if so, to obtain information about their specific personal data and the processing that LEXIER has carried out or is carrying out. This includes, among other things, available information about the origin of such data and the recipients of any communications made or planned.

Right to Rectification: This is the User’s right to have their personal data modified if it is found to be inaccurate or, considering the purposes of the processing, incomplete.

Right to Erasure (“Right to be Forgotten”): This is the User’s right, unless otherwise provided by applicable law, to obtain the deletion of their personal data when it is no longer necessary for the purposes for which it was collected or processed; when the User has withdrawn their consent to the processing and there is no other legal basis for it; when the User objects to the processing and there is no other legitimate reason to continue; when the personal data has been processed unlawfully; when the personal data must be deleted to comply with a legal obligation; or when the personal data has been obtained as a result of a direct offer of information society services to a minor under 14 years of age. In addition to deleting the data, the data controller, taking into account the available technology and the cost of its implementation, must take reasonable measures to inform other controllers processing the personal data of the data subject’s request to erase any links to such personal data.

Right to Restriction of Processing: This is the User’s right to limit the processing of their personal data. The User has the right to obtain the restriction of processing when they contest the accuracy of their personal data; when the processing is unlawful; when the data controller no longer needs the personal data but the User requires it to make claims; and when the User has objected to the processing.

Right to Data Portability: If processing is carried out by automated means, the User has the right to receive their personal data from the data controller in a structured, commonly used, and machine-readable format and to transmit it to another data controller. Whenever technically feasible, the data controller shall transmit the data directly to the other controller.

Right to Object: This is the User’s right to prevent the processing of their personal data or to request that LEXIER cease processing it.

Right Not to Be Subject to a Decision Based Solely on Automated Processing, Including Profiling: This is the User’s right not to be subject to an individualized decision based solely on the automated processing of their personal data, including profiling, unless otherwise provided by applicable law.
