Extended Body Gate Valve ANSI 1500
The Extended Body Gate Valves, manufactured to API 602 / ASME B16.34 design, are primarily used to completely open or close the flow path. Their design includes a gate (flat or wedge-shaped disc) that moves vertically within the valve body to facilitate flow blockage.
They are primarily used for on/off operations and in the open position offer minimal resistance to flow, minimising pressure drop. They are suitable for handling fluids with wide temperature and pressure ranges.
