2-Way Ball Valve HFKH 1000 bar

The HFKH1000 is a 2-way ball valve designed for hydrogen service, rated up to 1034 bar, available in sizes DN8 (3/8″) and DN13 (1/2″).

ISO 19880-3 (Hydrogen gas – Refuelling stations – Part 3: Valves) distinguishes between valves for maintenance (Class B) and for operation (Class A). While Class B valves are designed to withstand only 100 cycles at ambient temperature, Class A valves must withstand 102,000 cycles (100,000 at ambient temperature, 1,000 at -40°C and 1,000 at +85°C) without losing sealing integrity. The MHA ZENTGRAF HFKH1000 series is manufactured to ISO 19880-3, Class A. The shaft seal design is additionally certified to DIN EN ISO 15848-1 (low emissions).

To allow up to 102,000 operations under full differential pressure, the valve has been designed with special attention to wear and friction reduction, ensuring maximum reliability even under the most demanding conditions.

Available with manual or automatic actuation. Certified to TPED DIN EN ISO 23826, ATEX IIC (H2) Zone Ex 1/2G, Fire-safe DIN EN ISO 10497 and DIN EN ISO 15848-1. Suitable for hydrogen dispensing, distribution and storage applications.
